I hated to hear that Henry White had passed away. I sat beside him in the Lafayette band when I was a senior. Henry ended up being my roommate in our Freshman year at Eastern KY.. We, and Art Walker, did a lot together, because everything was different for us. Band and mandatory R.O.T. C. were about the only classes we took together. Our schedule was probably the worst that any freshman had. Henry asked me to joing the Baptist Student Union with him and sing in the Messiah chorus two years. I caught up with Henry a few years ago and enjoyed getting to know what he had been doing. He was a very nice person and friend.
