Joe Wayne, I'm so sorry to hear of Lois' passing. Every time I hear of one of our classmate's passing it's like a small part of me goes missing. With Lois it was more than that. Even though we rarely communicated I felt close to you both because of our great friendship in school. That evening Kay and I went out with you and Lois after the reunion has been part of my fond memories since. I'm thankful for that bond even though time and space has kept us separated. I pray you will find peace during this time and if I can be of any service to you all you have to do is call.
Thanks for your friendship,

Loran

Mary Helen and I want to let you know how much we both have loved and cared for you and Lois all these years since our days at Lafayette. One of our dearest memories is when we stopped by to see you at Ft. Chaffee while we were on our honeymoon and our evening out when you sang Danny Boy after dinner.  It's a shame that we were unable to maintain close contact over the years but you both have been in our thoughts and prayers.  Lois was a dear friend since childhood and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. When we meet again in Heaven what a great reunion that will be.

Love,

Mary Helen & Jim
